Chair of the composition department at the Manhattan School of Music and student of  Morton Feldman, who studied with BMC composer Stefan Wolpe.  Vigeland will guide mixed ensembles in performances of open-form, boundary-blurring, anarchic, stereotype-destroying works, including Feldman’s Palais de Maris and Piano Four-Hands.
